- The rain, the rain, oh! how I love the rain!
For some reason, I am reallly enjoying the rain this winter. It just feels so right somehow to have the rain coming down. Maybe it is reminding me of home (Ketchikan, Alaska) where it rained and rained and rained. Maybe it is because this summer seemed so hot and dry and papery. Now things are squishy and dark and misty.
Rom came home early because of flood warnings near his work, so we went on a family walk in the woods to see how high the creek was. It was a very wet walk! But not too cold, and fun. Rom and Orlando stayed behind to play. Last I saw them, they were floating leaf-boats down the mini-river.
