So, speaking of changing my perspective, I recently started keeping a gratefulness journal. My mom recommended it to me. First, I was just thinking of things in bed at night, but sad to say, those things flew right out of my brain by the next morning. So, I started writing things down, and Orlando has been joining in.
Some of Orlando's entries (dictated to me):
Today, I am grateful for... climbing rocks, playing with L., being with you, cooking with you, being on mine own, being at Peppi's Playground, rolling down the hill, playing monsters and ghosts and sharks (with Papa), birds and trees, climbing the tree, Sophie (our neighbor) and me, Mica and Rom.
Today, I am grateful for eating my snack and playing in the sandbox. That's it, now I want to nurse.
Today, I am grateful for... nothing.
Today, I am grateful for... you, I like being with you and being alone, being with Mica and with Papa, thinking about stuff and looking around, being with you and being on my own journey. (He really said that!)
Today, I am grateful for... just all the things.
Today, I am grateful for... playing but not hitting, food, eggs, salmon and peas.
