laundry.
Well, not laundry, but the fact that I remembered to move the laundry from the washer into the dryer -- three times! And then I actually folded the clothes. And put them away! I am grateful for feeling the sense of completing a task, and for fresh, clean clothes.

Looking at it this afternoon, he told me, "It is nice that we have this one in the vase. That's okay. But we will leave the rest of them in the ground. They're doing their own thing."
Mica's kissing.Last night I gave Rom a kiss, which started a never-ending kissing circle. Mica ran right over and gave Rom a kiss, then me a kiss, then Orlando. Kissing and giggling. Mica kisses right on the mouth.

playing kickball.
"Did you know in kickball you try to get to the base before other person gets you? (mischevious giggle) I was so fast no one could get me! I liked playing kickball. Suzi is a good teacher, she tells us all about when to run but some kids get confused. I am the fastest runner!"
grilled ham and cheese sandwiches.
"I still remember when we were in Arizona and Grammy made me that sandwich. That sandwich is good as mama's milk or ice cream!"
