I am grateful that I live in Seattle...

I love that there is so much greenspace in this city, and that we live just two blocks from two great parks, and just a few blocks from the ravine, and up the hill from the lake.

I love that there is enough rain to grow our garden effortlessly; that there are flowers and green all around.

I love the evergreen trees.

I love that we can hop on a bus and be downtown in ten minutes. Specifically, at Maneki restaurant, eating the best sushi in the world. Well, at least in Seattle.

I love that there is such a diverse and large homeschooling group here, and so many activities, events, and locations to visit.

I love that we are so close to Lummi Island, and will be able to visit my parents later this summer.

I love that my brother and his family live here.

I love that we spent the day in West Seattle on the beach, eating fish and chips and looking at rocks and walking down the boardwalk.

I am thankful for all the friends I have made over the years, and I am thankful that we live in Seattle right now.
